Occassionally, as I sit here, I remember that I have a journal and that, as such, I do need to update it once in a while. I guess I could leave it longer to update, but I don't really want to. Instead, I scrape the barrel of my existance to find something amusing to say, or to type something thought provoking. Not that I ever succeed, but the theory is sound.
I'm running through a checklist of things that I could talk about and every thing I come across, I cross off. I don't know why, really, it just all seems so inappropriate right now. Once again, I think this is probably just me.
I think we've covered the release of Meteora to death, although, if you do care at all, you can pre-order your copy here or via Official Site, information that I will probably transfer to an unlocked post in a minute.
Does it say something about me that at 5.25 in the morning, I am sitting here chewing my nails and typing an obsolete entry into my journal? It's not that Mike has done anything, and I have no reason to be sitting here when I can feel tiredness sweeping through my limbs. And yet somehow I just can't bring myself to power down the laptop and go to him. We all know, I should make the most of the time we do have, because tour bus bunks are not made for two people, and, tomorrow, we have a show in Milan. Now there is a date that has crept up on me, somehow I had fooled myself that it was further away.
And then, with the last date, in England, on March 7th, it's back home for a short period and off again, since we are touring with both the Summer Sanitarium (with Metallica, Limp Bizkit, Mudvayne and Deftones) and Projekt: Revolution. The cities we are visiting on the latter, along with Mudvayne (yes, again), X-Zibit and Blindside, have been announced on the News section of the Official Site. I would imagine that the Summer Sanitarium list is there as well, but I haven't checked, since I know pretty much where we're going. Failing that, if you're a member of the LPU, check the news page there.
I think perhaps I'm going to leave this post unlocked, since most of the information is general knowledge. There's nothing in here that is anything less that public.
4 days until the launch of the new layout site, thank god for that, because the fill in with the dull brown? It's beginning to grate, it offends my artistic sensibilities, even though I know that it's existance is entirely justified whilst they get the new site proper worked out.
March 3rd would be the official launch date of Meteora, and the album actually hits the shelves March 24th internationally and March 25th in America. Remember the dates and repeat after me. March 24th Internationally, March 25th in America. The launch date, we're in England, since we have shows in London on the 5th, and then at Manchester on the Friday, the 7th.
Who knew I'd be the one making entries like this, huh? Not my usual style, nevermind, it's got to be done and since I'm awake at this time the day before the kickoff of the tour, it might as well be me.
Meet and Greet information as follows.
Meet and Greet Information
1. All LPU members are welcome to participate in the meet and greet held after the show, regardless of whether tickets were purchased or complimentary. All friends and family that are not LPU members will not be allowed into the meet and greet area. (Exception: members under the age of 13 will be escorted by a parent or guardian) 2. Meet and Greet passes need to be picked up at the LPunderground ticket window PRIOR to show start time. The window will not be open the entire night so please be sure to arrive on time. 3. Linkin Park will be signing items at the meet and greet. There is a limit of one item per member. 4. Photography will be allowed but all professional cameras will be taken away.
The Street Soldiers should all be in place, or getting there by now. Most of them will have been alerted as to the failure/success to make the team. Failing that, there is the Online Team, as mentioned in the post below this one.
If there is anything I've magically left out of this, the don't hessitate to contact me. If I know the answer, I will give it to you. That's all. I have nothing else to say.
